About Flag Search

Flag Search is an online tool for identifiying world flags.
Our flag database is based on site. Flags images and data are covered by FOTW copyright.

Two different types of search are available:
1 - Visual flag search
2 - Standard text search.

1 - Visual Flag Search

With this tool the search starts from an image, an image URL or using the paint tool, you will obtain as result a list of flags ordered by percent match and a link to the corresponding FOTW country page where oyu can find a lot of information about the flag.
This service is offered by

1 - Upload an image or paste an image URL		2 - select the area you want to search		3 - Get the results

Only for internet explorer browser is available the online paint tool:

1 - draw the flag		2 - select the area you want to search		3 - Get the results

2 - Standard text Search

With this tool the search starts from a text, put the country name and click on search. The search engine is in english so, if you want to search a country in your own language tick the "Try to translate checkbox".
